The Red Apple
The following morning, the dwarfs left for work.
“Be careful,” they warned Snow White. “Don't open the door to strangers.”
“I won't,” promised Snow White.
Later that afternoon, knock, knock, knock.
Snow White looked through the window. An old woman stood outside holding a basket of apples.
“Would you like a beautiful apple, dear?”
“No, thank you,” said Snow White. “I'm not supposed to open the door.”
But the apple looked delicious. Bright. Red. Perfect.
Eventually, Snow White accepted it through the window. She took one bite. And suddenly... she fell into a deep, magical sleep.
The disguised queen smiled and disappeared into the forest.
