Mac and the Star Book

Mac always carried a book. He sat under a tree with Rose on a shady bench.

Rose traced the shape with her finger. "It looks like a ladle," she whispered.

"Exactly," said Mac. "Learning can be quiet and still fun."

Rose liked that.
