Charlie's Funny Face

Charlie was the cousin who loved to joke. He crossed his eyes and puffed his cheeks.

Rose jumped — then she giggled.

Charlie saw her stiff shoulders and stopped right away.

"Too much?" he asked.

Rose shook her head. "A little funny is nice," she said.

Charlie made a smaller, sillier smile. Rose laughed for real.
