Castle on the Mountain

High on a mountain stood a tall castle. Princess Irene lived there. She was a little girl with kind eyes and a kind heart.

Below the castle, men dug in the mine for gold and silver.

Even farther down, in the dark caves, people said little goblins lived.

They were not big scary monsters. They were small, grumpy creatures who did not like sunshine and liked silly tricks at night.
