Working Together

The owl soared above the forest and spotted a second, smaller opening on the far side of the log, hidden beneath some leaves.

The mouse squeezed through that tiny opening and discovered a path that led right to the branch from the inside.

The fox, guided by the mouse's directions, raced around and pushed the branch from just the right angle — and with a mighty shove, the branch finally rolled free.

The log popped open, and acorns spilled out into the autumn leaves.
