Ouch!

One morning, Pip decided to try. A bunny named Clover was hopping by.

“Good morning, Clover! Can I have a hug?” Pip asked hopefully.

Clover smiled and leaned in for a hug — but yelped. “Ouch!”

Pip's spines had poked her, just a little. Clover wasn't hurt, but she hopped back, rubbing her nose.

“I'm so sorry!” Pip said, curling into a tight, sad little ball.
