The Storm

One night, a terrible storm rocked a ship at sea. Thunder cracked, waves crashed, and sailors shouted over the wind.

Ariel watched from below as a young sailor was swept overboard, sinking beneath the waves.

Without a moment's hesitation, she swam to him and pulled him safely to shore.

As he lay on the sand, Ariel sang softly to him — and slipped back into the sea just before he opened his eyes.
