Pooh's Question

Christopher Robin found Pooh still gazing up at the buzzing tree.

"I know bees make honey," said Pooh. "But how? Do they grow it, like apples? Or bake it, like a cake?"

Christopher Robin smiled and sat down beside him on the grass.

"Bees fly to flowers and sip something sweet called nectar," he said. "They carry it home in a special honey tummy — a bit like bringing home a tiny picnic."

"Oh," said Pooh, who liked picnics very much. "Tell me the rest."
