A Bear Who Loved Honey

Deep in the Hundred Acre Wood lived a bear named Winnie-the-Pooh.

Pooh was round, soft, and very friendly. He liked singing little songs, visiting friends, and thinking about things.

But more than anything in the whole wide world, Pooh loved honey.

"Honey is the best," he would say with a happy sigh. "I could eat it at breakfast, at lunch, and at eleven o'clock in the morning, which is a very good time for a snack."
