The Boastful Hare

In a sunny meadow lived a hare who loved nothing more than bragging about how fast he could run.

"No one in this meadow could ever beat me in a race," he announced to anyone who would listen, puffing out his chest.

Nearby, a tortoise munching quietly on some clover simply smiled to herself and said nothing at all.
