Goblin Mischief

One evening Curdie heard goblins whispering behind a stone wall.

They wanted to play a mean trick: make the path slippery so people would slip and drop their lights!

Curdie tried to tell the guards, but the goblins ran away and hid. On the way home he hurt his foot in a tunnel. He could not walk far.
