The Sly Wolf

A wolf stepped out from behind a tree, smiling in a way that did not quite reach his eyes.

"Good morning, little one," he said smoothly. "Where are you off to on such a fine day?"

"To my grandmother's house," she answered politely. "She isn't feeling well, so I'm bringing her bread and honey."

"How thoughtful," said the wolf, already thinking of a plan. "Why not pick her some flowers along the way? I'm sure she'd love that."
