A Simple Life

Once upon a time, a farmer and his wife lived in a small cottage at the edge of a village.

They didn't have very much — just a small garden, a few chickens, and one plump white goose that waddled around the yard.

They worked hard every day and were happy with their simple life, even though there was never quite enough money to spare.
