A Dragon Who Loved Stories

In the green hills just outside a small town, there lived a little dragon named Ember.

Most dragons in stories loved treasure and gold. But Ember loved something else entirely — stories.

Ember had never actually read one, though. There were no books in the hills, and Ember was much too shy — and much too big — to walk into town and ask.

“No one wants a dragon wandering through their library,” Ember sighed.
